NFL Draft Goes On Despite Lockout Fears
April 29, 2011

It's a good time of year to be a sports fan. While baseball season is just heating up, and hockey and basketball fans are engrossed with the NHL and NBA playoffs, football fans' eyes turn to this week's NFL draft. Though the NFL labor struggles could resume at any moment, the business of football must go on for the time being, and Auburn quarterback, Heisman Trophy, and BCS Championship winner Cam Newton went first to the Carolina Panthers.

Assuming this year's football season starts as scheduled, you're probably looking forward to kicking back on a Sunday afternoon and watching the big game. And in the meantime, there's plenty of MLB games, and the NHL and NBA post-seasons to keep you busy. There's no better time than now to assess your current home entertainment center and start looking towards some upgrades so you're all set for the big championship games, or at least by the time pre-season football rolls around.

If you'll be hosting a a big crowd on game days, you'll need a big big screen to make sure everyone has a great view. A screen and projector system is a great option to get that sports bar feel in your own home. Or if you don't have the room for such a large setup, or if your viewing choices will be overruled by other members of the household, don't get stuck squinting at the game on a tiny old TV in the guest room. A set of high resolution video glasses can give you the illusion of up to an 80" TV screen at a fraction of the price and in a size that will fit right in your pocket.

Check out these great video options to have the best home sports viewing experience ever!
