Overall setting up the pool is very easy, the ground only needs to be level to within 4". Keep in mind the area needs to be free of sharp objects that could damage the bottom of the pools, rocks etc....When measuring the pool area, you must add 3 ft. to you measurements to allow for the sidewall support clearance, likewise when planing your deck allow for the supports. So for a 13x21 foot pool you will need a 16x24 foot area.
