Don't want to mess around with any parts off your existing engine? Is your existing boat in great condition, and all it needs is an updated engine and maybe a transmission?

We have complete turn-key engine packages for nearly every inboard and sterndrive application. From a 3.0L, 4-cylinder engine rated at 140hp, to an 8-cylinder, 8.1L engine package rated up to 450hp.

Safer Wholesale offers complete drop-in packages to replace nearly any 3.0L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 7.4L (454 ci), 8.1L & 8.2L (502 ci) engine.

This complete engine package is designed to replace most 1986 and later MerCruiser, OMC, Volvo Penta, etc. 4.3L engines. This engine package and 100% of the components are brand new. This engine is rated at 225hp at the crank shaft. No modifications need to be made to your existing MerCruiser, Volvo Penta or OMC outdrive. This complete 4.3L engine is ran, properly timed and tested BEFORE it is shipped to you.

This engine package includes:
  • 4.3L Vortec base marine engine (standard rotation)
  • Cast iron four barrel intake manifold
  • Holley 4160 marine carburetor (600 CFM)
  • One-piece flexible fuel line with stainless steel fittings (U.S.C.G. approved)
  • Low pressure electric fuel pump (U.S.C.G. approved)
  • Oil pressure switch and oil sending unit
  • Delco Voyager ignition kit-Voyager distributor, HEI coil, spark plugs and wires, misc wires for shift interrupt switch (U.S.C.G. approved)
  • 14" sterndrive flywheel and MerCruiser coupler
  • MerCruiser center-rise exhaust manifolds with 4" risers
  • Throttle bracket, throttle clip, and quick connect ball joint
  • 70 amp alternator, bracket, and tensioner (U.S.C.G. approved)
  • High torque bottom mount starter (U.S.C.G. approved)
  • Engine wire harness w/universal 10-pin plug
  • Water/fuel separator
  • Thermostat housing with thermostat
  • Adjustable engine motor mounts
  • Flame arrestor and weather cover
  • Dipstick tube, dipstick and EZ oil drain hose
  • Corrosion resistant black urethane paint
  • All pulleys, hoses, belts, installed
